Ophelia Boyd

Ophelia is a favorite adoption from the Boyd's Collection. We found her at a very special place called TJ Webb's at a Birch Run shopping center, outside of Frankenmuth, MI. D She just oozes personality.

MOM took her to where she was working, which we nicknamed, 'The office with no windows', and you would be amazed at the reaction of the people who saw her. Even the grown up men.

Ophelia is a very loosely stuffed bear, so she could be moved around very easily. When MOM would walk away from her desk, the men and woman in the office, the mailman and the delivery man, would do silly things with her. One time she was lying on her side, paw tucked under her head, reading a funny little hand drawn version of a child's book. Another time she was on her knees, next to her toy chair, looking like she was saying her bedtime prayers. Next time she threw her arm over the back of her chair (she had her own chair), and pretended to watch people as they went by. She could be sleeping or crossing her legs in the chair and one time she was found sneaking candy out of the candy bowl.

Everyone had such a good time with Ophelia and you know what we all found out? Sometimes all it takes to make someone smile and have a good day is a lovable teddy bear - and that's just fine with me.
