| This is Duke Logan.
He's been married to Mitsy for eight years and they have 2 cubs, a boy
and a girl. They aren't here with him today and it's strangly quiet and
peaceful this morning. Mitsy's mother in North Carolina broke her toe, so Mitsy has taken the cubs to see their grandma and she can help her mom out for a couple weeks, since she's having trouble getting around right now. Duke has the whole apartment to himself and although it's only been 3 days, he is finding out how much he misses them. Getting up and making coffee before work was always something Mitsy did for him while he would pack up a lunch sandwich to take to work and make the cubs school lunchs at the same time. Now, he's making his own coffee. He is a construction worker for Max Forest Industries. They build family homes, which he hopes to own soon, because the cubs are growing and could use more room. They are little, so they share a room for now, but soon - well, they are going to need their own spaces. At least he doesn't have to worry about getting his own dinner. Chef offers a very nice dinner down in the dining room and he makes sure there is some waiting for Duke when he gets home, even though it's well after the dinner hour. All in all it's going fine, except for Mitsy's plants. Duke doesn't really like plants, that's why she keeps them out in the hall, to be nice. But plants need water and he's not all that happy about having to make sure they get it. Too bad she couldn't take them with her to her mom's. |
